Heading via Casselman to the Fromagerie in St Albert. Return via Embrun.

At km 39 there is a right turn onto a packed gravel/dirt road which you should find to be just fine. Optionally, you might continue straight and take the next two rights which keeps you on pavement and gets you to the same place.

Head south to Winchester. How much corn remains to be harvested? Are leaves starting to turn? Comfort stops, as desired in: Metcalfe (The Stable); Winchester (Mary's Cafe, Tim's A&W).

A new variation on a theme, heading counter-clockwise and introducing a few kms of never-explored road near deepest, darkest Manotick. A planned rest stop at the Stable restaurant in Metcalfe (see map). You are also close enough to the Red Dot Cafe in Osgoode to make an earelier stop, if needed.

A few new road segments. All pavement! Stop for refreshments at the Kars Ultramar or wait til Manotick. For the latter case, you can turn right at km 26.35 and avoid the side trip to the Ultramar.
