About the event
One of our favourite rides on the Quebec side of the river - heading to a coffee stop in Wakefield. Note that the route map shows the start and end at Moussette Park - we will abbreviate the route slightly by starting and ending at Gatineau Park's P3 (near Gamelin).
The return trip from Wakefield is largely along the rail trail, which as a fairly solid crushed stone surface. Road tires should be ok on this surface, though 28mm tires or wider would be a bonus.

Ride with us to a coffee stop in Wakefield. Paved roads for much of the ride, but part of the return trip will be on the crushed stone of the rail trail along the Gatineau River. Road tires should work on the rail trail, though 28mm tires or wider would be best.
