Available rides

A (124 km, 720 m elevation gain)

Heading west on this shorter route to account for the later start and earlier dark. There are a couple of segments between Ashton and Munster that I'm not entirely sure about so please let me know if you encounter any unpleasantries. Dwyer Hill Rd may be quite busy but I believe there is a paved shoulder for the short time you are on it.

NOTE: Route changes made 12:30PM, Saturday. Please download the route, again, if you had done so earlier.

B (94 km, 548 m elevation gain)

Frequent travelers may recognize this as the reverse of the previous ride. Hopefully, the few kms on the rail trail will put you in a colourful tunnel. The newly paved Rideau Rd will be very nice.

The usual cautions: Munster Rd can be busy; the "right then left" turn in Richmond is aided with a little planning; watch your footing on the leaves on the rail trail. The suggested stop is at the Kars Ultramar but you can stop where you wish.

C (75 km, 455 m elevation gain)

A loop through Stittsville, Richmond and Kars. Suggested break at the Kars Ultramar but Richmond is an option, though only 28km into the ride. The return is along the lovely paved shoulder on River Rd, connecting to Woodroffe.

D (62 km, 375 m elevation gain)

A counter-clockwise route visiting Stittsville, Richmond and Manotick. Note the gentle exit out of Manotick. You will need to figure out where you will stop for a break: Richmond? Manotick? Some options are shown on the map.

Note there is construction on Rideau Valley Rd/ Manotick Main St north of Century Rd, should you be inclined to improvise!
